I have experience speaking at school assemblies for students of all ages! As a speaker, I chat with students about my journey as an athlete in grade school all the way through my experience winning gold at the 2024 Paris Paralympics. From finally accepting my disability and how that impacted the way I grew up, to my development of grit, dedication, and hard work through sports, my time speaking to your audience can include as much of my journey as you prefer. Each presentation can be fine-tuned to fit any assembly theme (disability awareness, women in sports, body positivity, and/or hard work toward long term goals, just to name a few!) so my story and experiences emphasize the learning and understanding you have in mind for your students.

Typically, this equates to a 25-minute speech that includes a slideshow presentation that features photos and videos from all throughout my athletic journey. Following is a Q&A session, and I’ve found that students really enjoy this portion!

The time allotment is flexible—I can lengthen or shorten my presentation based on your needs.

This experience would be very similar to what you can expect from a full school assembly presentation, just with a smaller group: I would love to come talk all things athletics with your track and field team, football team, and all teams and clubs between!

This allows for more one-on-one conversation between me and your student-athletes, as well as more guided, athlete-specific topics. I would be thrilled to discuss my experience with the college recruitment process, coping with and overcoming performance anxiety, and overcoming adversity as your team heads into their first competition or into their championship season.

School Assembly Presentations start at $1,000.

Individual Sports Team Presentations start at $250/team.

These prices are subject to change based on necessary travel, number of requested presentations, length of requested presentation, or additional requests such as individual classroom visits. Please let me know if this fee presents an issue for your budget and we can certainly negotiate.
